A red sun at dawn meant trouble later on
Some wisdom from a coked-out bookie she’d known
Jenny and her crew, three gutter punks who
Knew just when to raid the cash-and-loan
James had brought her down, a stray from out of town
Smokey eyes and a cigarette
Wouldn’t be her first, she’s willing and so versed
In thieving what she needs and how to get

Far away / Far away / Far away / So far away

(They) came in through the back, a strong and loud attack
Bones took point while James pistol-whipped clerks
(Neil) revved the car outside – a signal that implied
Two minutes was up and their plan had worked
As Jenny raced along, she set her eyes upon
A patron make a move for his piece

They made their getaway in complete disarray

She jammed a knife into Neil, he took his hands off the wheel
